NW Istria (Umag, Novigrad, Brtonigla, and Buje)

Asparagus Festival in Kastel (April 6 to 8): Since the asparagus has become a true symbol of Kastel, every year a varied cultural-entertainment, wine-gastronomic and sports program is prepared in its honor, attracting an increasing number of visitors.
Sweet Wine and Walk in Momjan (April 14): 7 km walk with four refreshment stops with a selection of wines by four famous Istrian wineries and delicious authentic Istrian delicacies, along with plenty of good music and dancing.
Asparagus Festival in Novigrad (April 29): The Asparagus Festival is the first in a series of gourmet events, part of Novigrad Gourmet Festival beginning in late April and running through to October.
