Top Foodie Things to Do in Istria in July
The largest foodie event in Istria in July is the ATP Umag Istria Gourmet Festival. With the tradition of ATP Umag going back to 1990, the international tennis tournament Croatia Open Umag is one of the most prestigious tennis tournaments in Europe. Although tennis matches are the main attraction, the gourmet festival, which has been accompanying the tennis event since 2009, has also grown to an extravagant gourmet festival that now has over 30 tasting points of Istrian cuisine, wine, dried meats, cheese, and olive oil. In the evenings, there are live music concerts with popular artists and DJs. Festivities go on for over a week with full schedule each day.
